Michaela is thrilled to spend another amazing summer as an intern at Arts for Youth! She is seventeen years old, and will be starting her senior year at Apponequet Regional High School in September. At Apponequet, Michaela is her band’s piccolo and flute player, in addition to being a member of her school’s choir, National Honor Society, and Television Production Club.
Outside of Apponequet, she has also found time to further explore music and learn to play the guitar, piano, and ukulele. Michaela has a not-so secret love for ballroom dancing, and has performed all over, from Taunton to North Attleboro to Providence. She’s been dancing since she was six years old, and has not stopped since. Some of her favorite things in the world include Shakespeare, Marvel movies, and hot chocolate. As a former camper at both AFY and AFT, she is looking the most forward to once again hearing how exactly a wacky person is like a palindrome.
