Sue Catalano

Sue Catalano has been in the music business for over 30 years as a teacher, performer, and musical director. She began her career in Stoughton where she was involved in the Music Department in the Junior High and High School where she was the accompanist for all of their musical groups. She continued her journey accompanying for many Theatre Groups in the area including productions at Bridgewater State College (where she attended College as an Early Childhood Education major), Massasoit Community College, Wheaton College, Quincy Dinner Theater, plus many other high schools, elementary schools, and community theaters.

She acquired the job as Cardinal Spellman High School’s “Piano Lady” in “2002 and continues to happily play in the Spellman pit for all of their musical productions. In addition to performing, Sue is the Music Teacher at St. Bridget’s School in Abington where she teaches PreK through Grade 8, and also at St. James St. John School in New Bedford where she teaches PreK through Grade 5. She also directs both the Teen and Youth Choirs at St. Ann’s Parish in Raynham. In her “spare time” she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is very much looking forward to adding AFY to her life!
